In addition to curbing the spread of water-borne diseases, Purefresh also has a growing footprint of quantifiable socio-economic development.

Subject to consumer demand changes, we supply between one and two million liters every month to the communities with our established vending locations.

At each outlet, at least one full-time attendant is responsible for their daily operation. Subsequently, the steady income earned by the 100 staff on our rota has directly improved the livelihood of at least 300 Kenyans.

Furthermore, by supplying ready-to-drink water, we have directly reduced the carbon footprint of families who previously boiled water to make it safe for consumption by circa 1,500 tonnes of CO2 annually. Moreover, our water is processed, bottled and distributed employing the greenest possible best-practice methods, further minimizing environmental degradation.
